Joined Lewis, Rob, Jenny, Crickett and Kit on a trip down the Animas river.Fun trip and great way to learn more about our neighbors! Ashley and I wentout for lupper afterward at the Durango Brewery (pretty tasty!) and thenhome. Ashley made cookies.
Work day but Ashley didn't have to go in early so had a relaxed morning.Spent the day playing catch-up, it felt like. Had to place the order, thereceipt machine was out of paper, and the UPS died mid-day. Stayed latewrapping up the order, but I think the store will look good once itarrives, finally filling in some holes. Stopped at The Pine Cone inBayfield for a quick supper - the $3 burgers don't count if you get a combomeal, but for $3 they would be ok. Home and looked through some landscapepictures, discussing ideas. Then on to bed.
In to the office this morning. The register computer's hard driveapparently died so off to WalMart for a new all-in-one PC and then spentthe morning getting it back up and running. Mostly got that in place -thank goodness for a slow sales morning, I guess! Threw off my whole day.Off to pick up Ashley at the end of her day and we went for a short walkalong the river trail. She stopped by the store to change into yoga clothesand I started working on framing Granddad in the motorcycle photo while shewent off to class. Got to the last corner of the frame and it split, sothat's frustrating! But it's otherwise pieced together and just have todecide what to do with that. Home and a few more maintenance things to doon the register computer, remotely while Ashley heated up supper. Lateevening and quick to bed!
Up early and headed into the store before anyone else woke. Just in timefor the church interviews to start - it went well and the second one wascanceled so quicker than I expected. Sign day and the Daniels' all came tocheck out the store for a bit. Then worked framing and wrapped up the daywith a covid church meeting before heading home for the evening. Chickennoodle soup for supper and chatting before heading to bed.
Woke early so we headed to Brenda's for breakfast. Then home and I went tothe store to work in the frameshop for the day.
Ashley and Lily came in to Durango (I motorcycled and they drove) and wewent to the Outdoor Exchange. Picked up a tent for tomorrow's camping tripand a mug for Lily. Then over to the farmer's market. Bumped into Evannethere. Afterward I worked and the girls went home. I went straight toEvanne's after work, Lily and Ashley were already there. We pickedcherries, then had supper, and everyone headed out after eating. Tyson wasmaking hay so he was out working all day - Evanne and kids went to visit abit. We headed home. I pitted cherries and watched a movie. Up a bit lateworking on that, but ended up with almost 20 cups!
We went to Rupert's for breakfast (and got to chat with Sarah some while wewere there. Then picked up a new ceiling fan at Home Depot on the way home.I went to irrigate while Lily stayed with Ashley. I got back and joinedthem playing in the common house. Ashley went and studied a bit for herclass tonight. We went back to the house to get ready for lunch but Lilydidn't want to come inside so a fit was thrown. She went up and laid in herbed to feel better, then came downstairs with her blanket to get somewater. Tripped on her blanket and fell down, bonking her upper lip on herteeth. We got her feeling better and then made noodles for lunch, then naptime. I napped a bit, too. Nap went ok but waking up was poor. Then she andI went back to the common house to play while Ashley went to teach herthird hypnobirthing class. We talked with both sets of grandparents on thephone. Then it was time to come back home and we had bananacakes for supperand Lily helped cut up the pineapple. After Ashley got home I finished theirrigation for the day and then read for a bit before bed.
Installed the fan in the living room - it immediately made a differencewith the airflow.
