2017: Another day around the Daniels' household. Marilyn came over and fixedFrench Toast for supper. Delicious!
2018: Woke in our new home! After coffee and breakfast we headed in to town totake care of some more things. Cleaned the apartment and borrowed Jody'scar to get the chair and motorcycle to the house, then back into town forour car and to return Jody's. Everything's on our property! Picked up somesmall things for different parts of the house - shower curtain and rings,liquid soap for bathrooms, set of dishes from the thrift store, a router toset up wifi, etc. Back home to put more things away. Ashley made chili forsupper and we ate strawberries out on the back deck for dessert. Early tobed - it's been a long weekend and getting up early tomorrow to drop Ashleyoff at the airport.
2019: Breakfast burritos to start the morning. We headed into work and Don wentto check out Mesa Verde. Home and made pizza for supper. Ashley had a greatidea for our announcement picture so we grabbed some dinner rolls from thestore and snapped a photo but will call another day. Sounds like Don had agreat day!
2020: Hung out at home for a bit before heading in to the store. Closed it andhome to get Ashley for our date night! Mom and Gary watched Lily while wewent to Bottom Shelf for supper. Really tasty and refreshing to get outjust as a couple. Ashley wore a dress and looked great. Home and visitedwith Mom and Gary before heading to bed.
2021: Ashley went to the farm so Lily and I hung out. At the end of the day Ifired up the mower for the first time this year and got the front yard done.
2023: Up early to irrigate and look at tools for the work party. then home for bre akfast. Lily and I went to Burrofest in Mancos while Ashley led the workers a t the high tunnel. We really enjoyed seeing the donkeys in costume, running t he obstacle course, and chatting with the artists. Then home just as Ashley w as coming back. We had leftovers for lunch. Lily got a nap while I went to t he store to change the sign to cover next week and pick up Ashley E2 80 99s p rescription refill. Home and finished packing and then irrigation and supper . A few last minute chores before bed. 20
