2017: After a walk in the park we loaded up and moved over to Jack and Arlene's. No problem getting into their driveway and we enjoyed chatting with them for the afternoon. Then we hopped on the motorcycle for a trip to the northern portion of Paynes Prairie Preserve to walk the boardwalk/trail with all of the alligators from Ashley and Norma's visit. The bike stalled out on the way and we had to find a nearby hardware store to replace the starter switch. On to the park! We walked about half of the trail and saw probably close to 100 gators! They were down in the water and not up on the trail with us, but that's ok! Also saw a wild pig out in the field, eating. Then back to the house for supper (steak on the grill!) and a fabulous evening/night of chatting.
2018: Work day. All of the orders came in. Following up with real estate agent, building materials stores, and a trailer manufacturer to figure out pieces.Trailer Made trailers sounds like it might be the same price as the localguy but better quality, and they're already delivering a load to Durango sowe can skip most of the delivery fee!
2019: Work day - got the email written. Ashley joined me for a quick lunch atHimalayan - her first visit. Great to meet for a random lunch! Then homefor the day. Ashley made pizza. Apparently the dishwasher hasn't beendraining so it had a pool of water down in the bottom. I dismantled andcleaned it - Ash was tired so she headed to bed and I got it put backtogether. It seems like it is draining after being thoroughly cleaned...Kinda tired of learning about how things work by having to fix them.
2020: Up and made breakfast using cast iron skillets to help get them seasonedfurther. Put together breakfast burritos and had to run off to the store tomeet the intern. Got some things done while there. Home for the evening andhung out with Lily and Ashley.
