2019: It snowed all night, too, apparently. Neither of us slept well, listening to the snow fall and hit the roof. We got out and shoveled out the car -the berm! the neighbor came over and gave us a hand. We headed into town, a touch grumpy. Stuck in traffic about the hospital so we u-turned and had breakfast at the Upper East Side cafe. Really tasty breakfast sandwiches and the lunch menu looks equally good! Dropped off at the store to find out that the roof is leaking. The snow pack on the pharmacy roof slid off and bumped into the swamp cooler and messed up the ducting. I taped and wrapped it in a tarp before the handyman came out from the landlord and he said I'm hired! He ordered new ducting and will be back later to get that put inp lace. Otherwise, just a long day. Home to shovel a bit more, bring in firewood, etc.2019 02 16 07:08:32 Sun Tired day. Ashley went into town to buy wood pellets and pick up an ignitorfor the pellet stove. She grabbed sandwiches from the Tuning Fork on herway home for lunch. We put the new ignitor in the stove and it startedright up! I played with the Pelican site generator and worked on addingnavigation to my journal site. We made roasted chicken and potatoes forsupper from *Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat*. Delish! Reading before bed.
