Had pizza dough ready to go after picking Ashley up from work - first time making the overnight dough, it worked out really well! Then a slow day mostly sitting at home before taking her back in to work. Rain started this evening - supposed to freeze about sunrise, so everyone is freaking out about the storm...
Dropped Ashley off at work and home for the day. Spent the day reading andtaking care of some chores for the week. Did yoga in spare bedroom. Hungryday. Picked up Ashley and stopped at Mountain Tacos for supper. Grabbedsome movies from Redbox, played a couple rounds of Rummikub and watchedmovies before bed.
Headed into town after getting writing done for the morning. Met Jodi atthe ski rental place, picked up snowboards and headed up to Purgatory forour snowboard lesson. Had lots of fun and were able to head down the hill(at least facing one way) on our own by the end of the day. Headed up tothe lodge for a drink afterward. Jodi went for a run of her own while weheaded back down the hill. I went for a few more runs on my own before weheaded out for the day. Stopped by the store then to Home Slice for supper.Home for a bit of tv watching before heading to bed.
Up and after breakfast we headed into town. Ashley went shopping in Walmartwhile Lily and I drove around and passed the time. Afterward we went overto Durango Joe's for coffee and a snack for Lily, then headed home. Iworked on the Jeep headlights for just a bit then started cooking for ourat-home date night. Good supper and great conversation.
Up early and doodled. In to work for a bit. Lots of process stuffs. Atelunch and went for a walk around downtown - sketched at the river. Home abit early. Read before bed.
Closed on the sale of our house! We woke early so headed to Smiley Cafe forbreakfast and showed Lily where her upcoming art class at Seed Studio willbe. Then to the title company to sign paperwork and chat with Keith for abit. Ashley and Lily headed home and I went to work for the day. Sad to bewinding down a chapter of our life, but glad to have that part of theprocess finalized and behind us, and eager to move forward with somethingnew! During signing I realized that this move will also be helpful to breakup our memories - so far I refer to things based on where we live as along-term anchor. So having a new base to build memories from will bereally helpful.
